For various reasons a-kin to laziness, forgetfulness, and damn right stupidity, i managed to not include some songs onto my monster mixtapes!!! D'oh. Some absolute corkers too!!!

Anyhow, ive since found a few more tracks, and have thrown them all together onto a CD and have uploaded them for you all to have a gander at.

DOG MIX TAPE MEET UP AND RAFFLE, AND NEXT MONTHS MONSTER RAVING LOONEY MIXES!!

Again just wanted to say, a massive thanks for all involved, all that turned up, make marvellous mixes and joined in the fun with cassettes, cake, cokde-a-cola, ice gems and some weird looking homebrew. Had a fantastic night guys, and chuffed to bits that people seem to be getting into it. And special thanks for those entering via snail mail and the interweb, its great to think people of further afield are getting into it, spread the word!!!
The raffling system for the mixes seemed to work well, and hopefully try that again.
Each mix is tagged with a raffle ticket and number, so people select random raffle tickets rather than the tape and its case, due to the sheer amazing efforts people have made to sleeve their mixes! Also think it was a thumbs up for the 'Ideas Box' being there for people to contribute 'themes and ideas' for next months mix, rather than having the spotlight on them to come up with an idea at the need of the night!!!


July's mix theme was choosen at random by Mr. Andrew James Brown, and its gonna be 'MONSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
Having debated (or rather insisted) that NO-ONE IS ALLOWED TO USE THAT AUTOMATIC 'MONSTER' SONG, ITS F**KIN ANNOYING AND NO PEARL JAM EITHER, BUT THATS PURELY COZ THEY ARE SHIT AND A STENCH ON THE MUSICAL MAP!!
But from brief chats and stuff, monsters seems to be a great choice this month, plently of songs and ideas floating around, and may even be see some double albums and boxsets at the next meet as there's that much to choose from!!!

The next meet up will be end of this month (in the last week, give people time to get their mixing heads back on), hopefully do it at the adelphi this time, birth place many a music memory and inspiration for a few of us, im sure. Date to appear shortly after checking the listings.
